Who We Are
We are a Spirit-filled team of musicians and vocalists who want you to feel what we feel - the transformational creativity of God through music. We believe worship should be an interactive time with the Holy Spirit, both as a group of people assembled to honor God and privately as a saved son or daughter. We are not on stage to perform for ourselves, but to open up a direct connection to and from the heart of God. We sing and play to bring glory to God through music!
Our Music Ministry Leader
Christ has always used music to minister to me. Even as a young child, music was the vein that pumped directly to my heart. Through music, I feel connected to His Spirit, and He is connected to me. As I have stepped out in faith and obedience to lead worship at Lighthouse Bible Church, I feel He has given me 3 ways to bringing His vision to LIGHT. The first is Intentional Prayer. The praise and worship team is intentionally prayed over; from the song choices, to the instrumental sounds, to the voices that can be heard, and to each individual team member. The second is Intentional Practice. We come together to practice ensuring what we do in Him is done with excellence, that what is lifted up to Him will be glorifying and pleasing to His ears. And the third key is Intentional Praise. As followers of Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords, we must recognize and be full of awe and reverence in the Lord God Almighty. Revelation chapter 5, paints a beautiful picture of worship, as John sees tens of thousands of angels saying, “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” He could hear every creature in heaven and on earth saying, “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” I am surrendered to walk in obedience to lead a team of incredible people to serve the faithful Lord Jesus.
