Requesting prayer for a family friend, D., a very significant person in my sister's life. He is battling lung cancer and is about to start chemo treatment. Prayers for healing and strength throughout his treatment. But more importantly, that he has, or comes to, a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Also, my sister is suffering tremendous anxiety over his illness and the long-term prognosis, while she runs his business in his absence. She believes in Jesus Christ, but as far as I can see she has not made him above all other gods. Thank you for your prayers and I know they thank you as well.

My best friend (JoEllen) was hit by a Jan 26th crossing the highway above the Church. She has been in trauma 1 ICU Roanoke memorial since then. Praise 🙏 🙌 We had asked for prayers for my daughter's friend who was having surgery to have medal bars added to to rib cage that was falling in and crushing her. The surgery was successful, and she went back for her follow up appointment and and everything looks great. She is able to breathe and has gotten taller. Thank you for your prayers 🙏

My daughter's 13 year old friend had an anxiety attack at a volley game. Her parents are going through a divorce, her mom just had a baby, this is her first year playground volleyball and they keep her on the bench, her mom and dad both talk bad about each other around her. Please pray that God heals her of anxiety and for her family to have the wisdom on how to proceed going forward. Also, please pray for Ava, who is 15 and has cancer in her thyroid. She going in on Thursday of next week to remove her thyroid as well as some lymph nodes. Please pray for her and her family. I work with her mother who is also hurting for her child.

I would like you to put my daughter on your prayer list. Several weeks ago she broke out with the shingles on her face, in her mouth, near her ear. Dr put her on antibiotics. Yesterday she wasn't feeling too good at work came home early, took the covid 19 test , was tested positive for it. She still wasn't feeling any better this morning so went to the velocity urgent care, texted me back when she left there and said she now has Bell's Palsy along with Covid. Dr put her back on Prednisone and antiviral.

Update on my family member who lost her husband to suicide last year. She posted on FB, "Hi Everyone, Well, we're finally moving to Tallahassee in a few days to start over. Glad to be finally to this point, but missing him so much. Please pray for our strength as we start this new chapter with the deep sadness we still carry with us every single day." She has purchased a home in Tallahassee near her parents. She is sorting out their lives, dealing with 2 properties and preparing 5 children for the school year. Pray she seeks wise counsel and for Gods protection from wolves in sheep’s clothing, And that she casts all her burdens on Jesus, that she and her family can face each day with confidence and courage and wisdom and discernment. I have been a member at Lighthouse for many years, I love lighthouse and my brothers and sisters here. I need prayer from y'all. I have been in bed most of May, and June is headed that way too. I've been to the doctor many times but this keeps coming back. My mouth fills with blisters, and down my throat. I can't eat cause of the blisters, that in turn makes me very weak from not being able to eat, I can barely drink. I go back, if I can make it till then July 8 . I need all your prayers, as this cycle is starting again. I know God loves me, I know I am born again . I just want to get this done, wheather Christ heals me or brings me home. I just can't do this again. I'm not contagious in anyway. I love y'all, I need your prayers. I know God is here at Lighthouse, and I know there are many Christians here. I have been sick for a few months. My doctor is doing her best to find the cause. Can't tell I am sick on the outside, but last time it broke out, I was in bed for 3 weeks, with no strength, unable to eat, and a struggle to even drink. I know for certain for anything to get to me it must go through my Savior Christ Jesus. I know there is a purpose for this draining sickness, I know He hasn't left me alone. I would love prayer for God's will, and for the faith and strength to battle this again. Danny Ayers he used to work at Krogers in Westlake. He was a very friendly person that would greet anyone coming into the store. I just ask that we pray for his peace and comfort in this time because I don't know his situation with the Lord but hope and pray he does. Anyone that would like to go visit with him and have a word of prayer with him he would probably greatly appreciate that as he doesn't have much family.

Warriors: Just saw this from my daughter regarding her 21 y o daughter, “At ER with K. She has tonsillitis and lymphitis(?) They are going to give IV steroids, pain meds, and antibiotics and blood tests to gauge kidney function to make sure they can do a CT scan to see if there's any deeper seated infection behind the tonsils or lymph nodes. Also recommend she be admitted overnight. Waiting on a bed.” At 1:55 am “She's settled in. Room 755. "J" needs a miracle as being told he will never walk again. It's about 8 months since radical surgery on his back. Many complications and falls since. He's only 61. Salvation is questionable. For the past couple months my blood pressure has been very high. Doctors thought it was brought on by pain in my shoulders. Last night it went to 200 over 100. Which is really high for me. I had to go to RMH. After several tests they sent me home on some blood pressure med which really hasn't had much affect. Please pray that my blood pressure will come back down to normal levels.

They have three children together and she is struggling badly to adjust as it all now falls on her shoulders. My son accepted Jesus as his savior at the age of twelve. I do not believe he is saved & hasn’t been following Jesus and I believe he has more religion than relationship with Jesus Christ. Please pray for his salvation and for him to completely give over his heart to Christ. Please also pray for my grandson he prayed the prayer of salvation as well but as the same in my son I believe there are demonic powers influences their minds with lies. Pray please for my grandson and my son for complete deliverance of demon voices lying and infiltrating their minds to lies and anger, rage, and verbal abuse on their loved ones / family.

I am retiring from Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital February 3rd of 22. It will be 20 years. I'm seeking the Lord and where am I go what I will do. My original plan was to go to the VA Hospital we're already have six years in the military. Please pray for wisdom and understanding from the Lord and give me courage to follow where Christ leads.

Praise Jesus Holy Name!! My cousin Kenny came through his surgery with flying colors! The surgeon was able to remove the entire tumor and praise God HE CAN SEE!! They won't know what kind of tumor it is until pathology tests come back. But the surgeon was very optimistic! Thank you Lord!!

Please pray for a young couple I know, the mother-to-be went into premature labor last night and they ended up taking their daughter by C-section at 11pm last night. Last I heard, the baby hasn't developed in her lungs and brain enough to make it.

Please pray for my friend Johnny. He went to the hospital to have some pre operation tests done and wound up in the hospital. He has a bleed somewhere they can't find, they have given him 6 units of blood in a week. He is supposed to be having a heart valve replacement. As of yesterday, due to current regulations, they are sending him home for 10 days. My mind is blown how our medical system works but I know that he is a Godly man and believes God is in control and so do I. Prayers are always a good thing though. Please pray for Johnny.
