We have a passion for keeping marriages healthy and encouraging couples along their journey. This can only take place by examining and obeying what the word of God says about this sacred institution.
Our Marriage ALIVE! ministry is one of the more popular ministries in our church. There is such an immediate need for this type of ministry as the divorce rate continues to rapidly increase and married couples continue to struggle in their pursuit to have extraordinary marriage. We also offer a class every Sunday morning that offers a biblical view on marriage and family, implementing a variety of studies throughout the year. We discuss areas such as communication, intimacy, finances, children, and ultimately God’s instructions for the marriage covenant.
We have an array of ages represented in the class. Couples range from the early 20’s to the late 60’s. This provides for excellent class discussions and mentor ship opportunities. Truly, age is not a factor in this class!
As an extension of the marriage class, we also offer group date nights. This allows for couples to enjoy fellowship with their spouse and other class members. Bonfires, dinners, paint nights, camp outs, are just some of the date nights that the class has enjoyed together. In addition, an annual marriage weekend retreat is planned for couples to reconnect and invest in their marriages.
We have all intentions to continue to help couples in their walk with God, as they seek to glorify Him in their marriages. Truly, we can never stop improving our marriages.
