Psalm 32:8, "I will never instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. 9 Do not be like the horse or like the mule, which have no understanding, which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, else they will not come near you." n nGod begins to speak directly to David in verses 8-9. David had gotten into serious trouble and sin because of his faulty thinking. God is telling David that He will restore David with the joy of his salvation, but he must not be like a mule, stubborn and wanting to go his own way. If David wants the joy and blessings of the Lord, then David must walk in obedience with the Lord. As David walks with the Lord, the Lord will guide Him with His eye teaching him the way that he should go. nWe will get it wrong when we take whatever matter into our own hands. We must let the Lord lead, guide, and direct us. He will! And He never gets it wrong! Oh the importance of walking with God!
