2 Samuel 10

nDavid wanted to send his condolences to Hanun for his father's death, but because Hanun was subjecting himself to unwise counsel, he humiliated the servants sent to him by David. He later initiated battle against Israel and was defeated. Had Hanun sought Godly counsel, many lives could have been sparred. This is a reminder that if we seek counsel from another, it should be Godly counsel. Proverbs 3:6 Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path.

nProverbs 11:14 Where there is no counsel the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Psalm 20

nThis scripture is a remider of God's faithfulness to be there for us and to complete the work that He begins in us. A reminder of the blessings from Him that can not be measured. That He is our comforter and provider. That Jesus came to give us life abundantly. A hope and a future. He is so good to those that wait upon Him.
