"Say among the nations, "The Lord reigns; The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously." Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; Let the sea roar, and all its fullness; Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it. Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice before the Lord. For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth."

n‭‭Psalms‬ ‭96‬:‭10‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

nThis caught my attention this morning because I love being in the woods. It is a different world when you slow down and sit for a while quietly in the woods. This passage talks about the woods rejoicing before the Lord. We seldom think of this, but nature is under the curse of sin as well. They have experienced the fall. "The Lord reigns," speaks to when the Lord will become king (Revelation 11:7). When the Lord sits up His throne here on the earth and rules from the earth, nature is going to sing and rejoice like in The Garden of Eden. Creation today is in the bondage of sin, however when CHRIST IS RULING AND REIGNING, creation will be set free (Romans 8:18-23). The deer will no longer fear for its life. The bear will no longer have to hunt to eat. On and on, nature will be at peace with one another and even the woods will rejoice, even the trees! Wow! What a day! Come Lord Jesus come! Amen! Have a blessed day!
