Judges 21:25
In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.
During this time Joshua and Moses were no longer leading the people. Joshua and Moses both received guidance and direction from God to lead the people of Israel. Without the guidance and direction of the Lord, the people of Israel were making foolish decisions and there was turmoil and chaos amongst them. Our lives without Christ and His word are also destined to fail. We see this in our nation now. Our nation is continuing to turn away from God and we are seeing our nation falling apart. We need God's guidance and wisdom in our lives.
