David wrote these words under much distress. Saul was hunting for his life and had confirmed over and over that Saul wanted him dead. David could do nothing about it. David had been humble, loving, respectful, and loyal, yet this was the condition of Saul's heart. But David could worship! David could walk with God and that is what David does.!
You and I cannot change many circumstances that we will face, but we can worship! We can be faithful to the Lord! We can be humble before the Lord! We can still have e the joy of the Lord in our heart! God is our strength and defense! Amen! Praise the Lord!
