Proverbs 16:9, "A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps."
Today my earthly father has been with my Heavenly Father for 25 hours. My dad passed away suddenly and this was not my plan at all. But in these moments, I am overwhelmed by my Heavenly Father that this was His plan. I have seen miracle after miracle and grace upon grace through this time. Even though I seem to not be able to think and reason at times, it is the Lord directing my steps. I rest in the fact that the Lord is directing my steps. In the good times of life, I rejoice. In the sorrowful times there is an amazing joy from the Lord that He is directing my steps. I now know how to walk through this valley, because He will direct my steps.
"Lord, I can't even walk, without you holding my hand. Thank you for guiding the way. I love You so much! And to You I cling! For you are my hope and stay!"
1 Corinthians 15:55, "O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"
The kingdom of God is not made for the kind of bodies we now have, which are bodies of flesh and blood. We must lay this body down before we can be transferred to the Kingdom of our Lord. Verse 36, "foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies." A seed before it is planted must die before it will produce fruit of its kind. So must we lay these bodies down before we can be transferred into the presence of our dear Lord. Death is merely the usher boy to take us to the presence of God!
