Proverb 4:23-27, "Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, And put perverse lips far from you. Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil."

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭23‬-‭27‬ ‭

Proverbs 4 is a chapter that lays out clearly several key things that allow us to take spiritual inventory. In verse 20, what comes into your eyes? In verse 23, what is within my heart? In verse 24, What is upon my lips? In verse 25, what is before my eyes? In verse 26-27, what is the direction of my path?

We must keep our heart with diligence. All of these things start in the thought life. We must protect! What is in the heart will soon surface! What you do in secret will soon come out and bring ruin of your testimony, ruin of your marriage, ruin. We must protect. Let us examine! Repent! Protect!

Proverbs 7:5, "That they may keep you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words." There are crafty women who desire to make you fall. The text continues to say that all who have fallen by this particular women, where strong men. A seductress can make even a strong man fall. Without a doubt the enemy wants you to fall and the fall begins in your mind. 1 Corinthians 10:12, "Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall." All of us need to be aware of the fact that we can fall. Regardless of age, position, we have the potential and we need to guard ourselves against these things! Keep your mind and guard your heart! Amen! Don't walk in slippery places or you will fall! Set up guard rails to protect your heart and mind!
