"And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, "Are You for us or for our adversaries?" So He said, "No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, "What does my Lord say to His servant?" Then the Commander of the Lord's army said to Joshua, "Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy." And Joshua did so."

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬-‭15‬

This is one of the many occurrences in the Old Testament where we see the incarnation of Jesus Christ. We saw Jesus come to Abraham to share a meal, to Jacob He came and wrestled with him, in Daniel He came into the furnace of fire, but here He has a sword drawn and is the commander of the Lords army! Imagine Jesus in this role! Wow! Joshua was reminded that he is second in command and he fell at the feet of Christ to worship!

Each one of us should do the same, fall at His feet in worship and submit to His leadership and authority as a dad, as a Pastor. When we do not submit to His leadership, we are already headed to defeat. Let us right now, submit again to the Lordship of Christ and His will for our lives!
