John 21 is fascinating to me. This is after the resurrection of Jesus, the disciples have seen the resurrected Christ on two occasions already and John 21 is the third time they see Christ. The disciples are fishing and have caught nothing. Jesus appears on the Sea shore and tells them to cast the net on the other side of the boat, they haul in a massive catch, 153 large fish and the net didn't break. Several miracles in this catch of fish. Jesus speaks with Simon Peter and encourages him to feed His sheep. The church was about to begin with Simon Peter as Jesus had promised Peter earlier. Simon asks about John the apostle and In verse 22, Jesus said, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me." This speaks to the responsibility that God uses people differently, but we are responsible for following Christ and living for Christ regardless of what anyone else is doing. We have a responsibility! Amen! Let's follow Him in how He leads us!
