Good morning!
Exodus 32: Moses is on the mountain meeting with God to gain laws for the land to guide the people. Aaron is left in charge of leading and the people come to Aaron criticizing Moses. Aaron gives in and collects gold from the people and engraves a golden calf that the people worship. Ugh. Moses comes down and confronts Aaron. Aaron doesn't want to take the blame, he puts it all on the people and then lies about engraving the calf. A leader has to accept responsibility for their leadership and not justify why things did not go well. A leader has to lead biblically, secretly when no one sees and of course when the people can see. A leader leads! A godly leader must be called to lead and lead in following Christ. May the Lord help us to lead our homes. We must lead our homes well before we can lead the church well!
