Exidus 15-16

There is a stark difference between 15 and 16. In 15, the people of Israel had celebrated and praised God, saying He was a mighty warrior. They seemed ecstatic that God had delivered them out of Egypt. Then in 16 we began to see them acting like spoiled brats. Did they forget that quickly what God had done for them? Though they complained, God STILL provided for them in the wilderness manna every morning. Even in that, some disobeyed what the Lord had commanded. He STILL provided.God had made a covenant with Abraham and He had not forgotten. God was faithful and so gracious. Thank you Lord for your patience with us and the grace that you give us. Lord, when we feel like complaining, help us to remember how very good You have been to us and to be grateful of Your goodness! In Jesus name, amen.

Romans 5

5:18 Therefore, as through one man's offense judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

It's just awesome how God reveals His word to us. What Adam did at the beginning of time has brought death upon all mankind, therefore, we are all born into sin, basically a dead man walking- but God! He made A WAY- Jesus Christ! We are justified ONLY through Him!

Romans 5:3-5

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation wworketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Our suffering is not in vain. God wants to use it all to speak to us and the shape us into the people He created us to be. We can have hope in it all because He will bring us through it and bring us through it more refined in Him. May the Lord show us what He intends through the trials that we suffer! Amen.

Jude

As false teachings arise, we are challenged to not only receive the gift of salvation, but to also EARNESTLY contend for the faith. Earnestly means with intense conviction; seriously, not lightly, not casually, not flippantly, In a serious and determined way, often without humour; seriousness or serious intent.

That means playing no games about the twisting of God's word and standing up for its truth.
