As Jesus makes His way to Calvary, we are brought face-to-face with the depth of His suffering and the greatness of His love. At the cross, Jesus willingly bears our sin, endures unimaginable suffering, and experiences the agony of separation as He cries, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” The cross was not an accident—it was God’s plan of redemption. This message reminds us that the cross reveals the seriousness of our sin, the sacrifice of our Savior, and the incredible love God has for us. At the cross, Jesus took our place so that we could be reconciled to God.
