As Lighthouse celebrates 50 years, we look back with gratitude for all that God has done and look forward with faith to what He will continue to do. In Matthew 28:16–20, Jesus gives His followers a clear mission: go, make disciples, baptize, and teach others to follow Him. The church’s purpose has not changed. After 50 years, Lighthouse is still called to shine the light of Christ and make Him known to the next generation. And just as Jesus promised His disciples, “I am with you always”—He has been faithful, He is faithful today, and He will be faithful in the years to come.
