You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth."

Moses is giving his discourse to the people of God in his final message to them. He tells them in essence to walk with God and keep His commandments. Then he shares the above passage with them. And what a charge for us in the teaching of our children. We cannot Teach them enough about God and His holy word. Notice Moses said to even write it on your doorposts, teach them when you rise up and when you sit down. WOW! Be creative and find ways to teach your children the things of God. Teach them when seeing a bird. Teach them when seeing a family of ants. Teach them about God through someone else's mistakes. Always be looking for opportunities to teach them how to walk with the Lord. We should always be teaching and talking to our children about the Lord and how to follow Him. And may our lives send a clear message to our children that we are to live for Christ! Let's not blur the lines but live a clear message! He is everything!
